1. GENERAL ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By entering or using any facility operated under Omu Resort (including all locations, attractions, and affiliated parks), every guest, ticket holder, parent, or guardian acknowledges and agrees that:
- Participation in park activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury, permanent disability, or death
- Drowning, collisions, falls, or equipment-related incidents
- Environmental hazards, including wet surfaces, animals, and natural conditions
- These risks may arise from:
- Use of amusement rides, water slides, pools, go-karts, kayaks, playgrounds, sports areas, and zoo/animal sections
- Interaction with animals or natural environments
- Actions or negligence of other guests
- Equipment malfunction or failure
ALL ACTIVITIES ARE UNDERTAKEN AT THE GUEST’S OWN RISK.
2. FULL WAIVER OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, all guests agree:
- To release, waive, and discharge Omu Resort, its owners, directors, management, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from:
- Injury, illness, death, or property damage
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Any accident occurring within the premises
- This waiver applies regardless of cause, including negligence (except where prohibited by law).
3. PARENT / GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITY (CRITICAL CLAUSE)
For any minor (under 18 years):
- The parent or legal guardian assumes FULL responsibility for the child at all times.
- Children must be supervised at all times, regardless of staff presence.
- Omu Resort does NOT provide childcare or supervision services.
By allowing a child to enter or use any facility, the parent/guardian:
- Accepts complete liability for the child’s safety, behavior, and actions
- Assumes all risks on behalf of the child
- Agrees that any injury, accident, or incident involving the child is solely the responsibility of the parent/guardian
Omu Resort shall not be held liable under any circumstances for incidents involving minors.
4. SAFETY COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT
All guests agree to:
- Follow all posted rules, signage, and staff instructions
- Use facilities only as intended
- Respect all safety guidelines, including height, weight, and health restrictions
Failure to comply may result in:
- Immediate removal from the premises
- No refund or compensation
5. HEALTH & FITNESS DECLARATION
Guests confirm that:
- They are physically fit to participate in activities
- They will not use facilities under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Individuals who are:
- Pregnant
- Have heart conditions, back issues, or medical concerns
must not use rides or high-impact attractions
6. PROPERTY & PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- Omu Resort Parks is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property
- Guests are advised to secure valuables at all times
7. WEATHER, TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS
Guests acknowledge that:
- Certain attractions may close due to:
- Weather conditions (e.g., rain, lightning)
- Power outages
- Maintenance or safety concerns
- No refunds or compensation will be issued for interruptions
8. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT
By entering the park:
- Guests grant Omu Resort Parks the right to:
- Photograph, film, or record their image and voice
- Use such content for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes across all media platforms
9. ANIMALS & ENVIRONMENTAL INTERACTION
Guests acknowledge that:
- Interaction with animals carries inherent risks
- They must:
- Follow all zoo/animal safety rules
- Avoid unauthorized contact with animals
Omu Resort Parks is not liable for incidents arising from failure to comply.
10. RIGHT OF ADMISSION
Management reserves the right to:
- Refuse entry or service to any person
- Remove any guest violating rules or posing risk
No refunds will be provided in such cases.
11. JURISDICTION & GOVERNING LAW
- This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
- Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts within the state where the specific Omu Resort Park is located
12. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By purchasing a ticket, entering, or using any facility:
- You confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver
- You accept full responsibility for yourself and any minors under your care
- You waive your right to make claims against Omu Resort Parks

ALL GUESTS USE OMU RESORT PARK FACILITIES AT THEIR OWN RISK.
ENTRY INTO THE PARK CONSTITUTES FULL ACCEPTANCE OF THIS WAIVER.
